Marcus Davis led the Bulldogs with 130 rushes for
479 yards and seven touchdowns in 2006. Davis had a
long of 43 yards last season. He averaged 43.5 yards
rushing per game. Davis also caught eight passes for
35 yards. He compiled 107 yards on 25 carries as a
freshman. Davis was a two-time MVP for Albemarle’s
state championship team. For his AHS career, he
rushed for 5,699 yards. Davis was All-State,
All-County, All-Conference and Conference Player of
the Year. He led the conference and county in
rushing and scoring. His coach at Albemarle was
Baxter Morris. |
