Jonathan Shute played five matches in goal for the
Bulldogs in 2006, starting four contests. He made 18
saves while compiling a 3-2 record.
As a sophomore, Shute played in one match against
Ohio Valley. He recorded a shutout for the Bulldogs.
Shute will give the Bulldogs depth in the goal this
season. Shute was MVP and co-captain of the soccer
team at Pinecrest. An honorable mention All-Region
choice as a senior, Shute was an
All-Mid-Southeastern Conference selection his final
two seasons. Pinecrest won the conference
championship his junior and senior campaigns. In
basketball, Shute won Pinecrest’s hustle award his
junior season. His father played college lacrosse at
Clarkson University. Shute is the son of Bruce
and Sally Shute. |
