Kelly Mottola scored three goals in her junior
campaign. Wingate held a 3-0 record when Mottola was
able to find the back of the net, notching wins
against Coker, UNC Pembroke and Lenoir-Rhyne. She
scored the first goal in two of the three contests.
Mottola started 11 of 16 matches for the Bulldogs
during her sophomore season. In 2005, she one goal
and two assists. Mottola had one match-winning goal.
As a freshman in 2004, she played in 17 matches for
Wingate. She scored two goals to go along with four
assists. She is SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll
student. Mottola served as co-captain of the soccer
and basketball teams her senior year at Minisink
Valley High. A two-time All-Conference and
All-County selection in soccer, she was named
All-State and team MVP her senior year. Mottola led
the team in goals her junior and senior years.
