Entering his first season with the Bulldog swimming program, Dan Kesler is very familiar with the training philosophy of Coach Sanocki. Kesler enters the coaching ranks after a very successful swimming career that began with the Green Terror Aquatic Club. While a member of the club, he was trained by Coach Sanocki from the age of 10.

In June of 2000, Kesler represented the Green Terror at the Olympic Trials at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind. Before Trials, Dan qualified for the USA Senior National Championships and was a championship finalist at numerous Junior National Championships.

After high school, Kesler went on to lead the North Carolina State University Wolfpack swimming team. As a junior, he served as a team captain. During his collegiate swimming years at N.C. State, he performed to the level of ACC finalist in the distance events. His college swimming was capped with a provisional qualifying standard for the NCAA swimming championships in the 1650 Free.

Dan will work with all aspects of the program with primary responsibilities in the distance group, dry land workouts and the weight room. He will also assist Coach Sanocki with club programming while he continues to pursue a business degree.
